1. DJs Only 5 Year Warranty (on new products purchased on or after 01/01/2012)

1.1 After the standard manufacturer warranty period (12 months from purchase day) expires, DJs Only will guarantee that all products (with some exceptions shown below) will be repaired a maximum of 1 (one) time, free of charge within the 4 (four) additional years period from the expiration of the Manufacturer’s warranty period. Example; Purchase date 1st Jan 2012, Manufacturer Warranty End 1st Jan 2013 – DJs Only Warranty Starts 1st Jan 2013, DJs Only Warranty Ends 1st Jan 2017.

1.2 Subject to clause 1.3, faulty products (with the exceptions shown below) will be repaired free of charge (includes parts and labour only) or at our discretion, a replacement item in a fully functional state (usually a repaired product of the same model in a similar cosmetic condition as the faulty unit), providing that the product is returned to DJs Only, with the delivery paid by the customer (we recommend www.interparcel.com) and suitably packaged to withstand the journey within the additional 4 (four) year extended warranty period, together with a copy of the original sales invoice/receipt. Any products and/or parts which are replaced by DJs Only become the property of DJs Only.

1.3 Products are guaranteed for a maximum of 1 (one) repair within the extended 4 (four) year period from the expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty provided that:

1.3.1 The product has not been subject to abuse or mishandling, either intentionally or by accident, used beyond the limits specified by the manufacturers manual or advice by DJs Only, or has been damaged by an Act of God, Terrorism, Natural Disaster, or any other environmental scenario (including events such as power surges) etc;

1.3.2 The items are not designed for short term usage or have a natural short life span or timed life span such as Faders/Crossfaders, budget items or b-stock products;

1.3.3 The product is current and parts are available. The manufacturer must still actively manufacture the product, and parts must be readily available;

1.3.4 The product has not been altered or modified from its original state and any fault in the product has not been caused by the use of accessories and/or supplementary or replacement parts which were not original components of the product;

1.3.5 The product is not one of the following items;
§ Apparel (such as Bags/Lanyards/Slipmats/T-Shirts etc)
§ Atmospheric Machines (such as Smoke/Haze/Bubble/Snow Machines etc)
§ Cables
§ Components (such as Drivers/Tweeters/Transformers/Tools/Crossovers etc)
§ Consumables (such as Batteries/Fluids/Solvent/Filters/Bulbs/Tape/Windshields etc)
§ Perishable Items (Headphones/Cartridges/Stylus etc)
§ Software & Compact Discs
§ Soft Storage Cases or products containing Textile/Material (includes items with stitching too such as CD Wallets and Bags etc, or Starcloths, Speaker Bags and Transport Carry Cases)
§ Wireless Products (such as Radio Microphones) including wireless remote controls

1.3.6 The product is not the subject of general wear and tear or cosmetic damage;

1.3.7 The cost of parts to repair the product does not exceed 20% of the original purchase price.

1.4 Any repair or replacement of a faulty product within the extended 4 (four) year warranty period, will not renew, prolong or restart your guarantee.

1.5 The extended 4 (four) year warranty period, is not transferable to a third party.

The above terms and information do not affect your statutory rights. DJs-Only reserves the right to change or remove Terms & Conditions without notice at any time.

Please Note: DJs Only 2 Year Warranty (on new products purchased on or after 01/01/2011), has not been replaced by our 5 Year Warranty. If your product was purchased before 01/01/2012, the item will continue to be covered by our 2 Year Warranty (1 Year Manufacturer cover, and 1 additional Year cover provided by DJs Only) and governed by the above Terms & Conditions.
